International Journal of Research in Open Educational Resources (ResearchOER Journal) is an open access blind peer-reviewed bilingual (English & Arabic) journal. Our editorial board is selected to ensure neutral and objective review process.
An editor assign's 2 reviewers for the submitted manuscript.
The editor takes the decision based on the reviewers' feedback.
Manuscripts are published online, after paying e-publication fee, under Creative Commons Attribution License.

English Manuscripts Review System

This review system of English manuscripts are being used by authors so that they can check the progress of their manuscripts provided that they are registered in the system.
Authors should consult Authorship Policy and Guidelines to Authors before submitting their manuscripts.

Authorship Policy

Author(s) should consult the Guidelines to Authors before they submit their manuscripts to ResearchOER Journal. Author(s) should submit their original work (which should not be published before). Author(s) should ensure that their manuscripts have been submitted only to our journal. It is the sole responsibility by authors(s) to ensure that their manuscripts avoid plagiarism and ensuring that all sources are acknowledged.

Authors should be listed in the order of contribution to the paper. Author(s) should be accurately represented. Author(s) should adhere to all research ethics guidelines of their discipline. Author(s) should mention if ethics approvals (code/number) have been gained for their studies.

Author(s) are obliged to participate in peer review process. Manuscripts from PhD/Master Theses may not undergo formal peer-review process, as they already went the peer-review process of thesis examination.

The submitted manuscript MUST NOT infringe on the rights of others, including privacy rights and intellectual property rights. Author(s) need to submit an authorship form signed by all authors and according to their agreed order, before an article becomes openly accessed online, and that the article has not and will not be published elsewhere. Author(s) should review the submission's Metadata and check if they are correct and accurate. The metadata is used to index the submission on publication and will assist readers' ability to locate the paper. Articles in ResearchOER Journal are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License.

Guidelines to Authors

Step 1: Writing your manuscript
# Your manuscript should align with the scope of the ResearchOER Journal. Your manuscript can be theoretical, empirical, or methodological.
# The abstract should be structured into: # Background & Aims; # Approach & Methods; # Results & Findings; and # Keywords (at least 5 keywords). The word limit and the structure of manuscripts vary, depends on manuscript type.

Step 2: Polishing your manuscript
# Follow the template style of the journal.
# Write the in-text Citations and the references list (bibliography) accurately.

Step 3: Submitting your manuscript
# Register and login to your account and then click on "New Submission" to start the process. Authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with the journal policies and manuscript guidelines including its metadata and authors' details.
# Upload the manuscript file, which should be in a word-processor document (*.rtf or *.doc). The manuscript should not include any references to authors to ensure the objectiveness and the neutral review. If there are any comments, authors can add it in the "Letter to Editor" when they submit their manuscripts.

You will need to enter your username or email address and press the button to have a password reset link sent to your email account on file.

You need to enter your email address you used in submitting your manuscript and the manuscript ID number, and an access link will be emailed to you.
